Mobile IV Geelong & Bellarine
Where we come to across Geelong and the coast
Our nurses cover Greater Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast. Appointments run at homes and workplaces right across the Geelong urban area, at houses and holiday rentals on the Bellarine, and at short-stay accommodation on the Surf Coast around Torquay. We also visit hotels, serviced apartments and offices anywhere in the region.
The pattern here splits between the city and the coast, and the two book quite differently. Across the Geelong urban area — from the CBD and the older inner suburbs through the northern suburbs and the fast-growing southern corridor — appointments are mostly weekday bookings at homes and workplaces, often fitted around work and family. The ocean-side Bellarine and the Surf Coast are weighted to weekends and holiday periods, when both fill with visitors staying in rented accommodation.
The bay-side and inland Bellarine towns sit somewhere between the two. They are largely residential rather than holiday areas, so they book more like the city than the coast, with steady weekday demand.
Everything the nurse needs travels with them, so a holiday house at Barwon Heads works as well as a home in Newtown. Where an address is harder to find or has restricted access — a holiday rental, a gated property or a new estate where the street is not yet on all maps — we ask for those details up front so the appointment starts on time.

About Geelong and the Bellarine
A working city that turned toward the water
Geelong spent most of its history facing inland — wool, wheat and the port that shipped them. The National Wool Museum still occupies a bluestone store built for that trade. What changed the city was turning around to face Corio Bay: the Eastern Beach reserve with its 1930s art deco sea baths, and the Baywalk Bollards — old timber pier pylons painted into characters from the city's past, running the length of the waterfront.
The Bellarine east of the city is two landscapes at once. Inland it is farmland, vineyards and quiet towns — Drysdale, Leopold, Curlewis. The coast is something else entirely: Queenscliff with its Victorian hotels, Point Lonsdale and its lighthouse looking straight out at The Rip, and around on the ocean side Barwon Heads, where the river meets the sea.
The two halves keep different hours, and that shapes how we schedule. The city and the inland Bellarine tick over steadily Monday to Friday. Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff empty out mid-week and fill again every weekend and school holidays — the same rhythm the Surf Coast keeps down at Torquay.
